Arrest Made In Murder Of DC Woman, Maryland Dance Teacher

A grieving family is closer to justice after the arrest in an October 2020 murder of a D.C. woman.

Kavon Jackson, 29, is accused of killing Noelle Wilson, 31, on Oct. 11, 2020 on the 2300 block of Green Street. Southeast and was arrested Thursday, June 9, according to Metropolitan Police. 

Wilson, a former dance teacher and bus aide at a Prince George's County school, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds at 2:54 a.m. that fall morning and was pronounced dead on the scene. 

Jackson has been charged with First Degree Murder while Armed-Felony Murder. 

This case is still under investigation. 

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the police at 202-727-9099.
